Question 1

Is the fragrance safe for my dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our formulas are alcohol-free and water-based, dosed for a dog's olfactory sensitivity and designed to neutralise odours without irritating the skin. They are applied with the brush, never sprayed directly onto the animal. Never on the head, muzzle, ears or mucous membranes, nor on irritated or broken skin. If in doubt, ask your vet for advice.

Question 2

Can I wear the same fragrance as my dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that is the very idea behind Nichebloom. Each eau de parfum has been designed for a dog and its owner to share, and creates an olfactory signature common to you both.

Question 3

Do the fragrances contain alcohol?

Accepted Answer

No. All our eaux de parfum are formulated without alcohol, on a water base, thanks to two patented technologies developed in Grasse.

Question 4

How do I choose a fragrance?

Accepted Answer

Each fragrance tells the story of a personality, not a type of dog. Choose the one that reflects you both. The six worlds are presented on the Our worlds page.

Question 5

What is the difference between the Signature gift set, the Nomad gift set and the refill?

Accepted Answer

The Signature gift set contains the 120 ml eau de parfum and its natural-bristle brush, in a toile de Jouy box with its matching bag. The Nomad gift set brings together a refillable travel case and two 15 ml refills. The 15 ml refill lets you fill the Nomad case again. The composition is the same in all three formats.

Question 6

Where are the fragrances made?

Accepted Answer

Our fragrances and their technology are developed in Grasse. They are made and packaged in Normandy, in accordance with the ISO 22716 standard.

Question 7

How do I apply the fragrance?

Accepted Answer

Never directly on your dog: the fragrance is applied with the brush. Spray twice onto the bristles of the fragrance brush from a distance of 20 cm, let it dry for ten seconds, then brush gently in the direction of hair growth, from the neck towards the tail. For textiles (dog bed, throw, pouf, sofa), spray as a mist from 30 or 40 cm away and leave to settle for five to ten minutes.

Question 8

How often should I scent my dog?

Accepted Answer

Two to three times a week on average, on a clean, dry coat. Adjust the frequency to suit your pet.

Question 9

How long does the fragrance last?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the composition, from four to eight hours. The longevity of each fragrance is shown on its product page, in the Scent notes tab.

Question 10

Can I scent a puppy or a pregnant dog?

Accepted Answer

We advise against it. For puppies, and for females in heat, pregnant or nursing, olfactory sensitivity is stronger. It is best to keep their usual olfactory environment unchanged.

Question 11

Can I scent the bandana or the ribbon?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Spray the eau de parfum onto the silk from a distance and let it dry before tying it. It is also a lovely option for the most sensitive dogs: the fragrance stays with them without touching their skin.

Question 12

How do I care for the bandana and the ribbon?

Accepted Answer

Dry clean, or hand wash gently in lukewarm water. Air dry, and iron at a moderate temperature.

Question 13

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We deliver to mainland France, including Corsica, and to every country in the European Union. For the time being, we do not deliver to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or the French overseas territories.

Question 14

What are the delivery times?

Accepted Answer

Standard delivery: 4 to 5 working days. Express delivery: 48 hours. These times run from the dispatch of your order and apply wherever we deliver. You choose your delivery method at checkout.

Question 15

How much does delivery cost?

Accepted Answer

Standard delivery: €6.90, free on orders of €150 or more. Express delivery: €9.90, whatever the amount of your order.

Question 16

How can I track my order?

Accepted Answer

A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order ships. You can also find it in your customer account.

Question 17

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Accepted Answer

Our fragrances, bandanas and ribbons are presented in boxes decorated with our toile de Jouy, ready for gifting. With a Signature gift set, gift wrapping is complimentary, with a personalised message.

Question 18

What is your returns policy?

Accepted Answer

You have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, for unopened, complete products in their original packaging. The conditions are set out on the Returns & Exchanges page.

Question 19

Is return shipping free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once you have made your request, we send you a prepaid return label.

Question 20

How do I return or exchange a product?

Accepted Answer

Let us know your decision within 14 days of receipt by emailing info@nichebloom.com with your order number, then send the product back within 14 days, using the prepaid return label we send you, to the address given on the Returns & Exchanges page. You will be refunded no later than 14 days after your request; the refund may be deferred until we receive the product or proof that you have sent it. To exchange a product, return it and place a new order.

Question 21

Can I return an opened fragrance?

Accepted Answer

No. For hygiene reasons, a fragrance can only be returned if its box has not been opened and its adhesive strips and protective film are intact.

Question 22

My product arrived damaged. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Report it to the carrier and to our customer service (info@nichebloom.com) within 5 days of delivery, attaching a photo of the product if possible. We will then replace it at no cost to you, in accordance with the statutory guarantee of conformity.
